VULTURE

About Vulture and Gixts Labs

Vulture is made by Harsh Sharma (hrsraiden) under Gixts Labs. It is free, open source, and local-first: your résumés and applications stay on your device unless you choose to sync them.

Who makes it

Harsh Sharma, known online as hrsraiden, is a systems and AI engineer and the founder of Gixts Labs. Gixts Labs is a software initiative by Harsh Sharma to help people around the globe tackle everyday problems with high-quality products that are free or low cost; some of its products are open source, others are not. Vulture is its career product and is open source; others cover fitness, PDFs, voice assistants and mental-health companions.

Why Vulture exists

Job hunting is a pile of disconnected chores: rewriting a résumé for every posting, guessing what an applicant tracking system will read, drafting cover letters, and remembering where each application stands. Vulture puts the whole loop in one place and lets you bring your own AI model, so the assistance is yours to control and nothing is sold on the side.

Principles

Local-firstEverything works offline in the browser or the desktop app. Online accounts are optional and encrypted.
Bring your own AIOpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama or a built-in WebGPU model. Your key, your choice, your cost.
Honest outputThe ATS score explains itself, the AI writing check shows its tells, and nothing invents facts about you.
Open sourceMIT-licensed. Read it, run it, improve it.
